‍This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing photography and videography services provided by Sanmi Studio. It ensures clarity, professionalism, and mutual understanding between the Studio and its clients while maintaining high standards of service delivery.



Booking and Scheduling


‍Booking Requests: Clients are required to submit a booking request via email, phone, Social Media, or the Sanmi Studio website. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and a non-refundable deposit of 25-50% of the total cost.


‍Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule up to 2 weeks before the scheduled session without penalty.


‍Cancellations: If a client cancels, the deposit is forfeited.



Session Details


Team Coverage: Golden and Event packages include two photographers (Lead & Second) to provide comprehensive coverage from multiple angles.


‍Session Duration: The duration of each session will be clearly outlined in the client agreement or poster.


Location: The location of the session must be finalized and agreed upon during the booking process. Please note that additional travel fees apply for locations beyond a 15 km radius of Downtown Toronto, as outlined in our Additional Charges section.


‍Props and Wardrobe: Clients are responsible for providing any personal or custom props (e.g., balloons, flowers, or themed items). Wardrobe changes are permitted within the session duration. Please note that changing time is included in the total session time.



Deliverables


‍Number of Photos/Videos: Clients will receive the number of edited photos/videos agreed upon. Sanmi Studio will deliver the final edited files in high resolution via an online platform.


‍Additional Photos: Clients may request extra photos beyond the agreed number at an additional charge of $20 per photo.


‍Editing Standards: All photos are professionally edited in Sanmi Studio’s signature vibe and aesthetic. Our editing includes professional color grading and basic retouching to ensure a consistent artistic look. By booking with us, clients acknowledge and trust our creative judgment and unique editing style.



Post-Session Policies


‍Photo/Video Selection: Clients will receive a gallery of successful unedited proofs within seven (7) business days after the session. Clients must finalize their selection within two (2) weeks.


Please note that delays in selection may result in longer processing times for final deliverables.


‍Delivery Timeline: Final deliverables will be provided within four to six (4 - 6) weeks of receiving the client’s selections.


‍File Retention: Sanmi Studio will retain all original and final edited files for 14 days following their respective delivery dates. After these 14 days, all files will be permanently deleted from our storage system. Clients are solely responsible for downloading and backing up their files immediately upon receipt. Sanmi Studio is not liable for any data loss after this period.



Pricing and Payments


‍Payment Terms: A non-refundable deposit of 25-50% is required to secure the booking.


The remaining balance is due before final deliverables are provided. Payments can be made via e-transfer, bank transfer, PayPal, or others.



‍Additional Charges:


Overtime: $150 per 30 minutes


Extra Photos: $20 per photo


Travel Fees: $100 for locations beyond the 15 km radius from downtown Toronto,



Client Expectations and Responsibilities


‍Punctuality: Clients must arrive on time for their scheduled session. As we often have consecutive bookings, delays of over 15 minutes may result in a reduced session duration. If a significant delay occurs, rescheduling fees may apply to cover the studio's lost time.


‍Communication: Clients must communicate all special requests, themes, or ideas during the booking process to ensure proper preparation.


‍Children and Pets: Clients must supervise children and pets ($65 per pet) during the session to ensure safety and prevent disruptions.



Usage Rights and Intellectual Property


‍Client Use: Clients receive personal usage rights for all deliverables. Commercial usage requires a separate license agreement.


‍Sanmi Studio Use: Sanmi Studio retains the right to use photos/videos for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise.



Conflict Resolution


‍‍Complaints: We strive for excellence in every session. Any concerns regarding the final deliverables must be communicated in writing within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. Sanmi Studio will make every reasonable effort to address valid concerns within a professional time frame.


Creative Difference: Please note that dissatisfaction based on personal aesthetic preference or creative judgment (which falls under our Editing Standards) does not constitute a valid complaint for re-editing or refunds.




Agreement and Acknowledgment


All clients must sign a service agreement acknowledging their understanding and acceptance of these policies before their session.


By signing, clients agree to comply with all terms and conditions set forth by Sanmi Studio.
